In regards to the announcement of bringing on KENTA, that will be announced on Friday, July 11, according to PWInsider. The website is reporting that the press conference for the announcement will take place in Osaka, Japan. Hulk Hogan and other WWE officials will be on hand for the announcement.
Additionally, there are rumors going around that KENTA will sign his contract with WWE in the squared circle during the day’s live event. In the middle of May, KENTA confirmed his jump to WWE. Amid his confirmation, it was noted that KENTA would be joining WWE’s developmental territory in NXT at some point during the summer.
KENTA achieved fame in Pro Wrestling Noah, a major wrestling promotion in Japan. He became a GHC Heavyweight Champion, the promotion’s most prestigious title, in 2013. KENTA has also worked for Ring of Honor in the past, facing off against Daniel Bryan on many occasions.
Editor’s Note
It must feel great for KENTA to be able to sign with WWE in his home country. If rumors are true that he will be singing his contract in the ring at the day’s live event, that’s pretty special and unprecedented.
