Back when WWE reported its second quarter earnings, it revealed that there would be a new payment plan for the WWE Network, coming at some point in August. During the second quarter earnings report, the company announced that fans could subscribe to the WWE Network for $19.99 a month, with no six month commitment.

WWE has now made this payment plan available, but there is a notable change. Instead of having to pay $19.99 a month for no six month commitment, the price is now $12.99. In addition to the plan without a six month commitment, there is now an option to pay for six months of the WWE Network in one fell swoop at $9.99 a month.

Interestingly enough, some WWE Network subscribers were able to get out of their original six month commitment for $9.99 quite easily. Anyone who subscribed via PayPal had the ability to cancel his or her subscription at anytime through PayPal’s website.

Editor’s Note

With the PayPal loophole, this may not be appetizing to some. However, I could see some getting behind the idea of not having a six month commitment for just a three dollar increase. It is essentially paying for one pay-per-view you really want to see for a low price. Though, I do wonder why the price was reduced by seven dollars.
