Stephanie McMahon Talks WrestleMania XXX With Michael Cole

As is the case on Wednesdays, WWE.com posted the latest sit-down interview with Michael Cole and a member of WWE today, April 2. This week, the last week before WrestleMania XXX, Cole sat down with Stephanie McMahon, one of the principal owners of WWE. The two discussed many topics regarding WrestleMania XXX such as the chances Stephanie’s husband, Triple H, becomes WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

When asked by Cole if Daniel Bryan gave fans hope on the April 31 edition of “Monday Night Raw” that he can defeat Triple H, Stephanie instead referred to it as false hope. She then claimed that Bryan and the fans will be disappointed when Triple H wins and goes on to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Michael Cole also asked Stephanie McMahon what will happen if Bryan happens to beat Triple H. Stephanie snapped back, calling it a ridiculous statement. Continuing, she said that Triple H will squash Bryan and that he does not have a chance come WrestleMania.

Finally, Cole asked Stephanie if she would admit she was wrong about Bryan, if WrestleMania XXX ended with 70,000+ fans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome chanting, “Yes!” Laughing, Stephanie said she feels sorry for people like Cole who believe that will happen.
