With just four matches official for “Money in the Bank,” there will likely be some last-minute additions to the card. As noted, Stardust and Goldust vs. Curtis Axel and Ryback is expected to be added to the “Money in the Bank” match card. Now, according to F4WOnline.com, another rematch from “Payback” may be added.
The website is reporting that word within WWE states that Rusev vs. Big E will take place during the “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view. Despite not being announced at the recent “Smackdown” tapings, a match between the two continued to be teased. (contains spoilers)
While there was discussion of Mark Henry taking on Rusev, it appears Rusev will be up against Big E for the second pay-per-view in a row. At “Payback,” Rusev made quick work of Big E, defeating him in under four minutes with “The Accolade.” Despite the two receiving a modicum of time for the match, many fans enjoyed it, praising both combatants.
Be sure to check out the current 2014 “Money in the Bank” match card, which also includes rumored matches.
Editor’s Note
Look for Rusev to pick up the victory in this match, if it occurs. The two will likely put on another good match, but it will likely be the final time the two square off for now. Rusev will likely go on to feud with a more challenging foe. Though, it will be interesting to see who it is. While John Cena has been rumored to feud with Rusev, Cena will likely become WWE World Heavyweight Champion at “Money in the Bank,” then facing Brock Lesnar at “SummerSlam.”
