The rumors of Kurt Angle returning to WWE have reached their peak temperature upon a report that WWE offered Angle a full-time contract. Angle would allegedly reject the contract due to not wanting a full-time schedule, something he had spoken about in the past months. Conflicting reports were also released in the coming days, which said that WWE offering Angle the deal was a polite way to not have him sign on.
PWInsider has published an update on their original report about Kurt Angle getting offered a WWE contract. Its report noted that it was Triple H who made the decision to offer Angle a full-time contract. However, that is the only contract WWE is interested in giving him. According to the website’s report, WWE does not want to bring in Angle on a part-time deal.
Because of that, there is a belief that Angle will remain in TNA, even though the company finds itself in an uncertain state. It is expected that TNA will be able to offer Angle a part-time contract for at least another year, and Angle will remain with the promotion.
Another reason that Angle is looking to work part-time is due to his desires to expand on his acting career in the coming year. In the near future, Angle will head to Los Angeles to attend meetings, and work auditions. Angle has worked as an actor on notable projects such as “Warrior” and “Sharknado 2: The Second One.”
Editor’s Note
I really hope WWE does change its mind, and offers Angle a part-time deal. Angle certainly deserves one, and would be a big help to the company.
