As we previously reported, on Friday Feb. 21, on-screen WWE Director of Operations Kane revealed that Brock Lesnar will be appearing at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Elimination Chamber will air live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn., which is very close to home for the “Beast Incarnate.”
However, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline recently posted a conflicting report on the manner. Meltzer is reporting that Kane misspoke in his interview with a local NBC affiliate in Minnesota because Brock Lesnar will not be appearing at the Elimination Chamber event. However, both Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman are scheduled to appear on the Feb. 24 “Monday Night Raw,” the day after the event. The edition of the program will also coincide with the launch of the WWE Network.
Lesnar last wrestled at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view as he made quick work of the Big Show in a singles match. The following night on “Monday Night Raw,” Lesnar and Heyman demanded that the former either face Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship or Royal Rumble winner Batista in a singles match. After their demands were not met, he attacked Cody Rhodes and Goldust, while they attempted to win back their WWE Tag Team Championship belts from the New Age Outlaws.
