While TNA prepares for its first pay-per-view event of the year, “Slammiversary,” on Sunday, June 28, the company has also had to deal with a number of talent departing the company. Samuel Shaw, Low-Ki, and Gunner have all been linked to leaving TNA following the expiration of their contracts. Additionally, long-time star Austin Aries may be on his way out, as his contract is set to expire following “Slammiversary.”
Now, according to a report from Bryan Fritz of Sporting News, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion James Storm is set to leave TNA as well. According to Fritz, Storm will leave TNA following “Slammiversary.” He reportedly asked for his release the week before the pay-per-view, and was granted it.
Storm also took to social media to share a photo of what may very well be a goodbye dinner with fellow TNA talent. Storm wrote:

James Storm has been with TNA since its beginning in 2002, making his first appearance on the company’s inaugural pay-per-view event. At its second pay-per-view event, he wrestled his first match. In addition to being a former world champion for the company, Storm was also a 13-time World Tag Team Champion in TNA.
Editor’s Note
With all these departures, it certainly looks like TNA is either not doing well, or soon to be undergoing another drastic change in terms of business.
