The Feb. 24 “Monday Night Raw” was one of the most-anticipated editions of the program in 2014 as it featured the returns of Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker. Additionally, it conicided with the launch of WWE Network and began the build to WrestleMania XXX. The marquee edition of the show did well as it averaged 4,661,000 viewers, according to TVBytheNumbers.com, up from last week’s average of 4,333,000.
The show started out strong in terms of viewership as the first hour, which saw Hulk Hogan open the show, as it averaged 4,892,000 viewers. Viewership remained steady for the second hour, bringing in an average of 4,778,000 viewers. Unfortunately for WWE, viewership for the third and final hour dropped to 4,313,000, even though it featured the return of The Undertaker, who accepted a match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX.
Once again, WWE topped the list as Monday night’s top cable program. It ended up with a rating of 1.6 for adults aged from 18-49. The 1.6 rating is up from last week’s rating of 1.4 for that specific viewing audience.
