Kane has had one of the most consistent careers in WWE history, but he’s never been a very strong performer at Wrestlemania.
It’s not to say that he has been bad on the grandest stage of them all. It’s just that he hasn’t been the recipient of too many big Wrestlemania moments over his career.
The topic of The Devil’s Favorite Demon hanging up his boots and retiring has been circling him for quite some time as his value to WWE programming continues to fade away. That’s nothing to be ashamed of; it ‘s done out of respect for him and his career.
But, the topic recently came up when Kane spoke with TheWhig.com about his career, injuries, and his legacy in this business.
You can read the full interview right here. Below are some of the highlights:
Will Wrestlemania 32 will be his last?
“Who knows, man. I’m still having a good time and I think I’m still performing at a pretty high level as well, so as long as I can do that, and I’m good, then I’ll hang around.”
What does Kane want as his legacy?
“I would like to be remembered as the guy who worked hard every night and set an example for the other guys in the locker room, and girls in the locker room. This is what a WWE superstar is supposed to do, this is how they’re supposed to act, this is how they’re supposed to treat the job, this is how they’re supposed to treat the WWE universe. More so than anything, I think that’s how I’d like to be remembered.”
