Rumor: The Rock’s Wrestlemania Role May Not Be Substancial

We’re now less than twenty-four hours away from Wrestlemania 32. We still have no idea what The Rock’s role will be at the show, which means one of two things.

Either his role is massive and WWE has no interest in spilling any details or his role isn’t going to be anything substantial and WWE utilized his name for several months just to create speculation and hype the biggest show of the year.

HIs role at Wrestlemania was announced many months ago, but there haven’t been any details aside from The Rock’s appearance on Raw before the “Royal Rumble.”

Naturally, when you give the WWE Universe no information, we speculate every possibility. Because it’s The Rock, we thought his role would be big and involved with a major angle, most likely with Roman Reigns.

While that is still possible that The People’s Champion will be involved in a major angle, it’s being said by multiple sources that his role at Wrestlemania will be very similar to the role he had on his recent Raw appearance of interacting with talent and telling jokes.

There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it will be highly entertaining as it always is with Rock. But, when you hype it up that much and for this long, people’s expectations and hopes rise.
