It has been all quiet on the western front for Bobby Roode ever since he left TNA a few weeks ago. When he departed TNA, many people were convinced he’d be bound for WWE like so many others have recently.
In fact, he recently discussed his future in this business, and he had the following to say:
“I’m a free agent so I can do anything I want as far as wrestling goes. I haven’t really dug deep into anything, yet. There have been a few phone calls put out to me and I’ve talked to a lot of friends in the business so we’ll see what happens. I’m certainly not in any rush. One thing I have learned in this business is that timing is everything.”
The truth is his timing could not be any better because Wrestlemania is now less than forty-eight hours away and that makes the following news very interesting.
According to Wrestlezone.com and many other sources, Bobby Roode has been seen around Dallas and was specifically seen at the hotel where most WWE personnel are staying.
Before this rumor gets too crazy, Roode could just be visiting friends who happen to be in WWE and let’s face it, what wrestling fan doesn’t want to be in Dallas right now? He’s a free agent, so why wouldn’t he go to Wrestlemania as a fan.
What’s interesting is it’s been confirmed that WWE has spoken to Roode since his TNA departure. The question now is if Roode is preparing to debut for the company tonight at NXT Takeover: Dallas, at Wrestlemania, or on the following Raw?
Do you think Bobby Roode should come to WWE?
