If you ask most superstars who have spent significant time in NXT to name the most underrated performer for the brand, a great majority of them have claimed in the past that it is Tye Dillinger.
He’s been in NXT for quite some time now. He’s wrestled most of the top talents in the brand and put on great matches with the best NXT has had to offer, yet “The Perfect 10” isn’t even featured on NXT programming, let alone having a chance for the main roster.
Of course, there’s a lot that goes into promoting a talent from live events to NXT weekly programming to the main roster. We know that, but put yourself into Dillinger’s shoes for a minute.
He’s been in WWE developmental for a long time. He’s a very good wrestler and also has the stamp of approval from most veterans in NXT.
Yet, WWE is bringing in guys like Shinsuke Nakamura, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, and others. Tye Dillinger is great, and the “Perfect 10” gimmick is very over with the NXT Universe, but he can’t compete with that.

The point is that we just lost Damien Sandow. He’s gone, and it’s very unlikely he’s going to be able to find the same success he found in WWE last year as “Mizdow.”
Dillinger has an underrated talent that is kept him around for years in NXT, but they’ve got to do something with him or let him go.
He should get a spot on NXT and not just having good matches and putting other guys over. Tye deserves some wins and with the crowd behind him, you never know what can happen even in a few months.
Do you think Tye Dillinger deserves a push in NXT or to the main roster?
