Back in November, Cesaro went down with a torn rotator cuff. The timetable was roughly six to nine months of recovery before he could get back into the ring.
Recently, Cesaro spoke with Sport 360 and discussed many various topics surrounding WWE, including Daniel Bryan’s retirement, Wrestlemania around the corner, and the latest update on Cesaro’s recovery from shoulder surgery.
You can watch the interview right here. Below is what Cesaro had to say about his recovery from WWE:
“According to the doctors, it’s probably going to be another two or three months. I hate to say it, but [WrestleMania 32] is probably too soon.”
“It’s like the worst time to be hurt, not that there’s a good time to be hurt, but it’s probably the worst time of the year to be hurt. Missing the Rumble, missing WrestleMania, it’s our high season.”

Unfortunately, Cesaro will be missing Wrestlemania. However, his return is only going to add one of WWE’s best and perhaps most underrated wrestlers back into the fold with a lot of new matchups in the ring.
After Wrestlemania, there will be new talent from NXT on the main roster and a guy like AJ Styles will be available for a feud with The Swiss Superman. WWE is going to be extremely interesting when Cesaro returns to the ring.
