Suddenly, it all makes sense. Many within the WWE Universe have been complaining about the fact that Bray Wyatt doesn’t have a Wrestlemania feud, but now it’s understandable why he doesn’t have a match on the grandest stage of them all.
WWE fans got even more disgruntled when “Roadblock” was meant to be Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt, but really became Luke Harper as a substitute, but now that and the lack of match at Wrestlemania make sense.
According to the Wrestling Observer, the reason for both decisions is Bray Wyatt is working through a “significant” back injury that is keeping him out of the ring.
The belief is he suffered the injury within the last few weeks. His last singles match was the “No DQ” match against Dean Ambrose on Raw. His last match was the next night during the SmackDown tapings in an eight-man match.
It’s still unknown how long he will be sidelined for or how much the injury will limit him in the ring, but that explains the decision for him to be a non-factor at “Roadblock” and to be absent from the Road to Wrestlemania.
Do you think Bray Wyatt will stay on WWE television and cut promos?
