Yes boss? There are all kinds of people who work to put together a wrestling show and in several cases, those people fill roles which are not often seen in front of the camera. At the same time, there are some people who regularly do work on television that also have jobs backstage. That appears to be the case again as a television star is now holding some more power backstage.

According to F4WOnline.com, Rocky Romero is now working in the AEW front office, meaning he is helping with the company’s day to day operations. There is no word on what Romero will be doing for AEW. In addition to being an occasional on-screen wrestler, Romero has worked as a liaison with New Japan Pro Wrestling and has helped bring CMLL wrestlers to AEW.

Opinion: The idea of bringing in someone else to help share the workload in AEW is a good thing, but at the same time, it is only going to mean so much if the higher ups are willing to listen. Having another voice that gets some attention is a good thing, but it makes no difference if this is another person whose job is just to support what is already taking place in AEW.
