That would be big. There are all kinds of ways to bring back a missing wrestler, as some of them can be quite the impressive moment. If someone has been gone or a long time due to one reason or another, you can see a major return under the right circumstances. That might be what we are seeing in the near future, with one of the biggest names in AEW possibly set for a return.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Other Side: WWE Officially Moves SmackDown Star To Monday Night Raw

According to Fightful Select, many sources in AEW believe that Adam Copeland will be returning to AEW on the January 1, 2025 edition of Dynamite. This comes as FTR has teased bringing some help to fight against the Death Riders on January 1 and Copeland and FTR are known to be friends. AEW has reportedly been wanting to make the show special as it is the first episode that will be simulcast on Max. Copeland has been out of action since Double Or Nothing in May with a broken leg.

Copeland is special. Check out his time in AEW:

Opinion: Copeland is the most logical choice for someone to come help FTR with the Death Riders. The show is in Copeland’s new hometown of Asheville, North Carolina and it would be a nice fit to have him show up again. If nothing else, the fans should go rather nuts to see him again, which is exactly the kind of atmosphere the company is going to want for a show like this one.

What do you think of the idea? Who do you want to help FTR? Let us know in the comments below.
