Welcome back. Injuries can be one of the worst things to happen to a wrestler as you never know how long they are going to be out of action. What seems like it could be something simple can often leave them on the shelf for a good while. That was the situation last year as someone was on the shelf for several months, but now she is back in the ring and picking up where she left off.

Last year, Wendy Choo was written off NXT TV when she was attacked by a mystery assailant, later revealed to be Blair Davenport. Choo would be out of action for over eleven months before returning to the ring this week on NXT LVL Up, where she defeated Wren Sinclair. This was her first match since May 16, 2023. There is no word on when she will return to NXT TV.

Opinion: It’s nice to have Choo back as no one should be forced out of the ring for that long. She is one of the more unique characters in all of NXT and you can tell that she has put together a lot of what makes her work so well. We could be seeing her put into some important spots rather quickly, which makes sense as she was becoming a pretty regular star before her injury.
What do you think of Choo? How should she be used in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
