Welcome back. Injuries can derail a lot of things out of nowhere as a wrestler can go from on fire to on the sidelines in the blink of an eye. Back on May 21, Mercedes Mone suffered an ankle injury during a match against Willow Nightingale and has not wrestled since. Mone has posted a video to Cameo, saying that she will be back in the ring “with some wrestling company” in 2024. While she has not wrestled since May, Mone did appear in the crowd at AEW All In in August. It is not clear where she is planning to sign next.
Mone is a star. Check out what she can do when she is around:
Opinion: No matter what you think of Mone, there is no denying just how talented she really is. Mone has been a star in WWE and New Japan and wherever she goes next is going to get quite the boost. Hopefully she gets to go wherever she wants, as there are certainly going to be quite the list of suitors. What matters is getting her healthy as soon as possible though, as she has already missed about six months due to her injury.
What do you think of Mone? Where do you want her to sign? Let us know in the comments below.
