That’s a hot one. There are all kinds of angles in professional wrestling but the most effective ones are often those that get personal. You can see someone do something to someone else that makes you want to see what is going to happen next. That can be a very important way to hook fans in for another match and that is what we got to see this week in a very big way.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Called It? Backstage Reaction To Joe Tessitore’s WWE Debut On Monday Night Raw

This week’s edition of Dynamite included a segment where Swerve Strickland purchased his childhood home. Later in the show, Strickland was scheduled to take part in a contract signing for his match with Hangman Page at this Saturday’s All Out show. Page instead appeared on the video screen where he spoke about how he wanted to ruin Strickland. Page then burned down Strickland’s childhood home as Strickland watched to end the show. The two are scheduled to face off in a cage match at All Out.

This was a step up. Check out what happened, plus how we got here:

Opinion: This is one of those angles that you do not see very often as it takes the situation to a much higher level. Page is not going to be able to do much else to Strickland and vice versa, which makes things that much more interesting. The story is going to have to be handled properly because it could go totally insane, but for now, they certainly have a top feud going into the pay per view.
