Video: Top Ten Giant Slayers

Fee Fi Fo Fum. Giants are one of the biggest traditions in wrestling history as you’re always going to have someone who is larger than life. While they’re important, the bigger deal is the person who is able to knock them off, often in an impressive feat of strength. There have been quite a few options over the years and that’s where WWE comes in.

WWE has released a Top Ten video of the greatest giant slayers in history. This is a bit of a misleading title though as it’s much more a list of people doing impressive feats of strengths to a giant. The list of course contains a nice mixture of old school and modern examples, as is almost always the case. Here’s the list:

Opinion: And no. There is absolutely no valid way to say that on a list about people slaying giants that Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the GIANT is number four. An Angle Slam to Mark Henry and a Jackhammer to Reese (Where was the Jackhammer to the GIANT?) are forgettable at best. Hogan and Andre had the biggest match in the history of professional wrestling and it’s fourth here? Give me a break.
