Yeah that works. There are all kinds of major wrestling stars in the industry today and several of them come from different parts of the world. That means you can get a lot of interesting combinations when some of them come together for a mixture of those styles. It seems that we are going to be seeing a different kind of style coming to one of the biggest promotions in the world.

Andrade El Idolo, formerly known as Andrade in WWE, made his AEW debut during this week’s edition of Dynamite. Mark Henry was in the ring for an interview when Vickie Guerrero interrupted. Guerrero said that she had a big surprise and introduced El Idolo to the crowd. El Idolo said that he has been known as the face of Latinos but now he is here to be the face of All Elite Wrestling.

El Idolo has wrestled all over the world, including extensively in Japan and Mexico. He also spent several years in WWE, wrestling under the names Andrade and Andrade Cien Almas. During his time with the company, he won both the NXT and United States Titles before being released from the company earlier this year. He is also scheduled to challenge Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship at this year’s TripleMania event.

AEW just picked up a heck of a star. Check out what he can do in the ring:

FULL MATCH - Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade – 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: SmackDown, Jan. 22, 2019

Drew McIntyre vs. Andrade – Champion vs. Champion Match: Raw, April 13, 2020

Opinion: This made my eyebrows pop up as it could be a huge signing for AEW. For the life of me I do not understand why WWE did not want to push El Idolo, who is young and crazy talented, to the moon but for some reason here he is instead. AEW signing him should be one of the biggest layups they have ever had and if they can use even some of the potential that he has, they have just been handed a huge gift.

What do you expect from El Idolo? Who should he face first? Let us know in the comments below.
