Whoa-oh-oh-oa! We’re getting closer to the 2018 Royal Rumble and with that comes the flood of names coming into the Royal Rumble match. This time around that means we have a women’s match as well, which includes a host of women already on the roster announcing their entrances into the match. You have to be on the show to do that though and one more person can do that now.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, Becky Lynch made her return to WWE after about six weeks away from action. Lynch returned to help attack the Riott Squad, who put her out of action in the first place. She has been off television to film her role in “The Marine 6: Close Quarters”. As of now, Lynch is not official for the Royal Rumble.

Here’s the match that lead to the comeback and the return itself:

Natalya, Carmella & Tamina vs. The Riott Squad: SmackDown LIVE, Jan. 2, 2017

Opinion: While it’s no secret that Lynch is going to be in the Rumble, it’s cool that she’s back in the first place. She’s one of the bigger stars in the division and putting her on the shelf helped the Riott Squad look important right off the bat. Having someone of Lynch’s caliber back is a great touch and hopefully she goes back towards the top of the division in a hurry.

Are you glad Lynch is back? How well could she fare in the Royal Rumble? Let us know in the comments below.
