That’s a unique one. Wrestling is like any other form of entertainment, in that the industry needs to find a way to advertise itself. If fans do not know the shows are taking place, there is little that they can do to see what is happening. AEW’s Anthony Bowens and Bryce Remsburg appeared at the Washington Nationals’ Major League Baseball game and got involved in their traditional presidents race. The event sees runners in president costumes running around the stadium, with the Thomas Jefferson and George Washington racers attacking Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt with chairs. Remsburg yelled at Jefferson before Bowens hit Washington with a chair, allowing Lincoln to win the race. This week’s AEW Dynamite is being held in nearby Fairfax, Virginia.

Opinion: I believe the appropriate term here is “sure, why not”. There have been some rather odd methods of promoting wrestling over the years but this is pure, goofy fun that ties AEW into Major League Baseball, even for one day. It’s not like there is anything bad about what happened here, so why not let everyone have some fun and maybe get some people to check out AEW?
