Update On Kamille’s AEW Status Following Surprise TV Departure

Remember her? There are all kinds of talented stars on the AEW roster but there is only so much time to feature all of them on television. At some point, those people are not going to be able to appear on every show and it can be noticeable when one of them is gone for an extended period of time. That is the case again with someone who has not been around very long and it seems little has changed.

Back in November, Kamille ended her on-screen relationship with AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone following weeks of abuse from Mone. Since quitting, Kamille has not been seen on AEW TV. According to Fightful Select by way of Wrestlingnews.co, there is nothing new about Kamille’s on-screen appearances, though she is still under contract. Despite some in AEW wanting a match between Kamille and Mone to take place, there is nothing to indicate one is coming.

Opinion: This is one of those things that isn’t exactly logical as there is almost no on-screen reason for Kamille to be gone. While there have been stories about her off-camera issues causing problems, that seems to be quite the jump to taking her off television entirely. It would be nice to see her getting another chance, as you do not see someone with her natural talents very often.
