Two Fold: Bryan Danielson Reveals Neck And Contract Issues On The Way To AEW All In

Double issue. There are all kinds of things that can happen to a wrestler to slow their career down at some point. This can be something that happens to them either in the ring or behind the scenes, but either of them can be trouble. Every so often both of them will come together at the same time, which seems to be the case with one of the bigger stars in wrestling today.

Bryan Danielson appeared in an interview last week on AEW Dynamite, with an extended version being released online. During the interview, Danielson revealed that his contract is up on August 1 (this coming Thursday). While he did not say he will be signing a new deal, he did say that his current contract would be his last. In addition, Danielson revealed that he is dealing with neck issues and is being advised to not wrestle until All In on August 25. The issue is described as “fixable”, with the AEW doctor saying the goal is to keep it fixable. Danielson is scheduled to challenge for the AEW World Title at All In on August 25.

Opinion: This is something that you do not see very often but now we are going to have to see where this goes. While the title match is still set to happen, there are going to be some serious issues on the way there. Danielson does not seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, but it is going to be tricky to see how he gets there with what could be a lack of in-ring action.
