So that’s why. There are all kinds of health issues involved in wrestling as it is a very physical sport. No matter how much training or experience a wrestler might have, there is always the chance that something could go wrong. That is on top of everything else that can go wrong in a wrestler’s day to day life, all of which could mess with their careers. That appears to have taken place again.

Earlier this week, the Rascalz were scheduled to challenge Axiom and Nathan Frazier for the NXT Tag Team Titles, only to be replaced by the Street Profits. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the change was made due to Trey Miguel requiring “unforeseen minor surgery”. There is no word on what was wrong with Miguel or when he will return to the ring. The change was explained on the show as Wes Lee getting involved.
It could have been good. Check out the Rascalz in NXT:
Opinion: That does explain things as the change was made at the last second and didn’t make a ton of sense. What matters is Miguel being ok and if the surgery was minor so things should be back to normal sooner than later. If nothing else, there is a good reason to explain everything away from a storyline standpoint, which is how a smart promotion should handle the whole thing.
