That’s a scary thought. Injuries are the kind of things that you cannot avoid in wrestling as no matter how talented or experienced you are, there is always the chance of getting hurt. Certain injuries can be worse than others, with few being scarier than things happening to someone’s head. That was the case earlier this year, and now we know just how bad things might have been.

Back on the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title. During the match, Page was knocked unconscious by a clothesline and the match was stopped as a result. Page has not wrestled since after suffering a concussion. This week on Dynamite, Page spoke about the night he was injured, revealing that he could not remember his son’s name for an hour after he woke up. Page has also said that while he is not medically cleared to wrestle, but he will be appearing on Rampage to fight Moxley.

Opinion: That’s one of those statements that is downright sobering, as it is hard to imagine someone being so out of it that they cannot remember his son’s name. Assuming this is a true story and not just a way to advance a storyline, that is a rather scary statement to say. Page’s story is something that is going to get a lot of people on his side and that could make for quite the push as we move forward.
