RUMOR KILLER On Shane McMahon To AEW Rumors

Him? There are certain wrestling families whose names have become almost synonymous with the industry. Those names are the ones that you will hear about over and over throughout the years, often with some names being associated with a certain promotion. Now though, a member of one of the most prominent wrestling families ever is reportedly interested in appearing for another wrestling company.

According to Conrad Thompson on the Grilling JR podcast, Shane McMahon has been reaching out to various AEW wrestlers about possibly appearing for the promotion. However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that they have not heard anything about this, with AEW wrestlers saying they had heard nothing either. The only thing that was related was a former WWE wrestler who now wrestles with AEW saying he was talking with McMahon, who said something about how it would be for McMahon to appear on Dynamite. There is nothing to suggest that McMahon will be appearing for AEW anytime soon.

Opinion: I’m not sure I can imagine a McMahon actually appearing on AEW TV, as it just feels so wrong for someone from the family to be anywhere but WWE. Maybe that will change one day, but for now, it seems like little more than McMahon just saying something to someone else rather than making a plan. While it seems like a cool idea, it still doesn’t feel like something we’ll be seeing anytime soon.
