One Of Them: Update On Wardlow's AEW Status, Why He Has Been Missing

One of them? There are quite a few talented stars on the AEW roster but there is only so much time to put them on television. As a result, there are going to be times when someone does not appear on the promotion’s broadcasts every so often, with some wrestlers almost disappearing out of nowhere. That is the case with another former champion and now we know why.

Wardlow has not wrestled since March 13 when he was defeated by Samoa Joe. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Wardlow is simply not being used at the moment. There is no word on when he could be brought back to television or when it could happen. Wardlow is not believed to be injured or having any problem that is preventing him from making a return.

Opinion: Wardlow is one of those people who feels like he could be a big deal if given the chance but for some reason he is just sitting on the sidelines. AEW has seemingly wanted to push him at times but then he is left out of action for several months at a time. I’m curious to see how this goes, but it would not surprise me to see him split from AEW when he is given the chance.
