Maybe not? There are several different wrestling television shows every week, some of which have been around for a long time. It can be a big deal when one of them is introduced but it can be an even bigger deal when one of them goes away. That appears to be the case again in the near future, but it might not be as simple and finished as it originally appeared.

Earlier this year, AEW finalized a new media rights agreement with Warner Brothers Discovery to continue airing Dynamite and Collision. However, Rampage was not included in the deal, meaning the show would end at the end of the year. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, even though the final episode of Rampage is scheduled to air on December 27, there is a chance that the show could come back on another network. The show could be called Rampage or potentially Shockwave, though it is not clear it if will be brought back at all.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as AEW would want to keep the show around for as long as possible, even if it is under a different name or in a different place. What matters the most though is that AEW has its content out there. At the same time, there is something to be said about having less content out there, allowing the other shows to feel more important.
