During the Kickoff Show, Dillinger was added to the title match to make it a triple threat. Dillinger also played into the finish as Styles hit him with the Phenomenal Forearm but Corbin came in and stole the pin to become champion. This is Corbin’s first title in professional wrestling and the win ended Styles’ second reign.
Here’s part of the match:

Opinion: Corbin winning was one of the better options they had for the title as it frees Styles up to go on towards the main event scene again. There are some options to challenge Corbin for the title and hopefully there are some good matches to be had in there. Dillinger was a good choice to put into the match as well as he was a part of the story the whole time and it wouldn’t have made sense to leave him out.
