LOOK: Sami Zayn Undergoing Special Treatment During Break From WWE

That could take some time. Wrestling is a very physical sport which can result in wrestlers’ bodies breaking down over the years. At some point, they are going to have to do something to fix all of the wear and tear, which can be done in a variety of ways. Now one of the more seasoned veterans of the WWE roster is doing just that in a way that is becoming more and more common.

The RejuvStem Cancun Instagram account has posted an image of WWE Superstars Ivar and Sami Zayn at their clinic, revealing that Zayn is there to undergo stem cell treatment. There was no specific condition listed, but rather that Zayn was undergoing treatment for “a career’s worth of nagging injuries”. There is no word on when Zayn will return to the ring. He last wrestled on the August 12 Monday Night Raw, with Jey Uso saying Zayn was taking some time away the following week. Ivar had recently announced that he was undergoing treatment in the same facility.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you see more wrestlers doing as of late and if it winds up working, good for the wrestlers who are getting to extend their careers. That is something that can work out very well for them and Zayn and Ivar both seem to hope it will work. That is more than a lot of the previous generations could do and it could be a game changer if it winds up working.
