Well that’s….odd. Jinder Mahal won the Smackdown World Title back in May and has spent most of his title reign talking about how great India is. Therefore, it would make sense to have Mahal make an appearance in India and as it turns out, WWE is touring there this coming December. Now this should seem easy, but not so fast.
According to the Times of India, the upcoming shows will be “Monday Night Raw” exclusive shows, meaning Mahal won’t be appearing on them. While this of course could be changed with Mahal doing a one or two time only appearance, at the moment, the country’s biggest star won’t be appearing in India.
Here’s what Mahal has been up to lately stateside.
Jinder Mahal mocks Shinsuke Nakamura: SmackDown LIVE, Sept. 12, 2017
Opinion: There’s the chance that he’ll get added but if Mahal isn’t put on this tour, what in the world has been the point of keeping the title on him this long? He’s been getting a bit better in recent weeks but when you look at the talent around him, how can anyone really look at him and think he’s the best option?
Do you think Mahal will be added to the tour? Who do you think takes the title from him? Let us know in the comments below.
