Free Match: Christian vs. Rob Van Dam From 2003

I guess they’re running out of TLC matches. Today’s free match to hype up “Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016” is a ladder match from 2003 with Christian defending the Intercontinental Title against Rob Van Dam. This was the main event of the show and again it’s being aired in full on WWE’s YouTube channel.

There’s nothing wrong with taking two guys and putting them in a ladder match so they can beat on each other for the better part of twenty minutes. This was an interesting time for the Intercontinental Title as it had only been brought back to life a few months earlier and Christian was one of the first new champions.
