They’re in trouble. Tag teams have a long history in wrestling and a vast majority of them eventually go their separate ways. This an be done in a variety of ways and it can be a big deal when a successful team splits. While it might not have happened in full just yet, things are not seeming to go well for one of the best teams in the history of AEW if this week is any indication.

Over the last few weeks, the Acclaimed have been having issues in AEW. The team has had a variety of arguments, some of which have led to the two of them almost coming to blows. This week on Dynamite, Anthony Bowens left the apron and stood in the aisle, leaving Max Caster to be beaten up by the Hurt Syndicate for the loss. The two argued both before and after the match.

It’s not going well. Check out the Acclaimed in AEW:

Opinion: Things aren’t looking good for the Acclaimed and it wouldn’t stun me if this was it for them. The tea has been running out of steam for a good while now and it might be better for both of them to just move on already. Odds are the breakup will be stretched out longer than it needs to, but for now it seems that the team’s days are numbered, which they probably should be.
