New home? The rise of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as all kinds of wrestlers now have another place to showcase themselves. If a wrestler does not fit in one promotion, maybe they can fit in another one. It can make for some interesting changes as someone can move somewhere else. That might be what we are seeing in the future after a wrestler moved on this week.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Brian Pillman Jr. had left AEW as his contract had expired. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Pillman was seen training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on Thursday. However, according to Fightful Select, Pillman has NOT signed with WWE, though they were immediately interested in him upon finding out that he was available. Pillman remains a free agent, and there is no word on when or where he will sign a deal.

Opinion: This is one of those things that you get from having a second major promotion and it makes for some interesting situations. Pillman might not have fit in so well in AEW but maybe WWE works better for him. The fact that he has another place to try on the big stage is a great thing and something that has been lacking in wrestling for so long. Hopefully this keeps working, as we can see wrestlers developing that much faster.
