Come On In: Update On Top Free Agent Status, Likely Coming To AEW

On the way? There are all kinds of places for wrestlers to go in the business today, but only a handful of these spots are available in the major promotions. Those are the places which can be a game changer for a star who is on their way up and it makes for a big deal when someone moves up to the next level. That might be what we are about to see with a talented star.

Earlier this week, a report surfaced saying that Mike Bailey was finishing up with TNA Wrestling and would become a free agent, opening the door for him to sing anywhere he would like. According to Fightful Select, Bailey is expected to join AW, though it is not clear when he could make his debut. Bailey had previously been seen backstage at an AEW event earlier this year, visiting friends.

Opinion: Bailey going to AEW is hardly a big surprise and now we are going to be seeing what he can do on a bigger stage. Hopefully he gets to show the talented that he has, as we could be in for quite the showcase if that is how it goes. Bailey is one of the more successful stars to not wrestle for AEW or WWE these days and now it seems like that is about to change.
