Change Of Pace? Update On AEW’s Plans For Bryan Danielson

That’s the idea. There are certain stars in wrestling who get the fans on their side due to a mixture of talent and charisma. That mixture of talent can cause fans to get behind them almost every time and it can be a special moment when that kind of a star starts succeeding. That has not been the case in recent months, but we might be in for a change of pace.

Earlier this year, Bryan Danielson announced that 2024 will be his last year as a full time wrestler. Danielson has wrestled in a variety of high profile matches but has lost the majority of them. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan is for Danielson’s fortunes to turn around, with his career recovering from the losses he suffered earlier in the year. It is not clear when the change will begin or where the story will go.

Opinion: This is one of those stories where the fans are likely going to get into it because they love Danielson that much. Danielson is one of the most likable wrestlers in history and it makes sense that fans are going to want to see what he can do in his final year as a full time wrestler. It makes for something special and now we could be in for a rather special run from one of the best ever.
