TNA President Dixie Carter has never been one to shy away from making a big tease, and on Wednesday morning, did just that.

The figurehead sent the following out on her Twitter account:

Carter is referring to the upcoming television deal for “Impact Wrestling,” which will no longer be airing on Spike after the channel decided it would get out of the wrestling industry. The channel, owned by Viacom, has given TNA until Wednesday night (its final taped episode for Spike) to find a television deal.

The rumored partner for TNA has been Destination America, a channel that averages about half the viewership of Spike and is available in about half the United States. This would be for significantly less in terms of financial figures, should TNA sign on with the channel.

It had been rumored at one point the company would be remaining with Spike, but as noted, this is no longer an option. Stay with Wrestling Rumors throughout the day as news breaks.

Editor’s Notes

Good luck Dixie, let’s keep the industry alive. But don’t put all the eggs in one basket.
