According to a Tweet sent out by TNA President Dixie Carter, this Sunday’s Lockdown pay-per-view has set a new company record.

It is worth noting that the term “biggest selling” may not equate to “biggest live attendance” in the United States, which is currently held by TNA Slammiversary in 2012, with 5,500 fans live from the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. However, if the seating charts listed on Ticketmaster.com for this year’s event are accurate, it would indicate that Lockdown certainly has the potential to be one of, if not the biggest live event in TNA history.

Lockdown is being held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The venue can be expanded to hold upwards of 70,000 fans, however TNA is using a smaller, modified section of the building.

TNA Lockdown is live on PPV this Sunday at 8/7c. Visit ImpactWrestling.com for more information!
