This week on Impact Wrestling, the fate of two potential TNA Knockouts hung in the balance. By the end of the night, former WWE Tough Enough star Ivelisse Valez was sent home, leaving Lei’d Tapa to the Gut Check judges later in the night. In a two-thirds vote, Lei’d Tapa was granted a TNA contract, and is now the newest member of the Knockouts roster!
Also, the TNA Gut Check committee made an executive decision to fire Taz from the judging panel, as he was recently revealed as a member of the Aces & Eights faction. He was replaced by “Nightmare” Danny Davis, a popular pro-wrestling coach and the current owner of developmental promotion, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). Davis – real name: Daniel Briley – has trained several wrestlers, including Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore, the Basham Brothers, Rob Conway and others.
