For months and months, Bully Ray has stopped at nothing in his attempt to put TNA president Dixie Carter through a table.

That moment will finally happen on the Aug. 7 edition of “Impact,” but it appears that TNA wants you to know it’s going to happen ahead of time.

ImpactWrestling.com has released footage of the attack, teasing it with an early video package.

There was some skepticism over whether or not the company would air the footage, especially with recent events taking place in the NFL that shine light on domestic violence against women.

Even so, TNA will go ahead and air Bully Ray powerbombing Carter through a table next week.

Carter recently revealed on Twitter that negotiations are still ongoing between TNA and SPIKE to keep “Impact” on the air.

Editor’s Note

I’m not going to rag too hard on TNA’s decision to air the footage because WWE has done the same thing themselves. When Alberto Del Rio won the World Heavyweight Championship against Big Show at a “Friday Night SmackDown” tapings, they promoted it on WWE.com on a Tuesday to increase intrigue for the show on Friday. Still, is this the right time to be airing a brutal attack on a woman? I know it’s wrestling and all, but I can see why some people wouldn’t be onboard with such a move.
