TNA’s “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view will air next month on Oct. 4, live from the Cabarrus Arena in Concord, North Carolina.

TNA Wrestling has announced the first match for the show, as Gail Kim will put her Knockouts Championship on the line against Awesome Kong.

This bout was recently confirmed by David Laguna on his official Twitter account:

Kim then followed up with a tweet of her own:

SPOILERS: Two other championship matches were announced to go down at the pay-per-view during recent tapings of “Impact Wrestling.”

Bobby Roode will defend the TNA King of the Mountain Championship against Bobby Lashley. In the main event, Ethan Carter III will look to overcome the challenge of Drew Galloway for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Jeff Hardy, who is currently working as Carter’s personal assistant, will serve as the special guest referee.

Last year’s “Bound For Glory” event took place at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. In the final match of the night, Tajiri and The Great Muta defeated “Cowboy” James Storm and The Great Sanada.

Editor’s Note

It’s not terrible, so that’s a plus. The card is shaping up rather nicely.
