As the hype for Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania continues, there are names who are increasing their level of boldness in order to stake their claim as a member of the card on April 8. At the Royal Rumble, Asuka would win the first-ever women’s match. However, Sasha Banks would strongly argue that she had the best showing of the match, lasting nearly 55 minutes after being the first entrant and being eliminated at 27.
Following the Royal Rumble, Banks would have a chance to end Asuka’s undefeated streak, as she competed against her on Raw. Sasha would have another very impressive showing, nearly defeating the “Empress of Tomorrow.”
You can view a portion of their match below.
Bayley would revive her NXT feud with Asuka on the following Raw, but have a conversation with Sasha Banks prior to the match to try to console her for losing. Banks would state that she needs to get back to the old Sasha Banks, and then undermine Bayley for thinking that she can beat Asuka. Bayley would then remind Banks that she beat her before, and walk away.
This tension has continued on Twitter. WWE posted that Bayley stepped up to the plate on Raw, but ultimately was not ready for Asuka. Bayley responded, “it’s only a matter of time.”

Bayley would remind Banks once again of her victory against “The Boss,” stating, “Yeah, like how you beat me? Pppffttttt.”

Both Banks and Bayley have a chance to become Raw Women’s Champion, as they will be two of six competitors in the first-ever women’s Elimination Chamber match on the Road to WrestleMania. From these tweets, it looks like they could be brewing a big match between each other in New Orleans.
Banks and Bayley have put together amazing matches in the past. particularly during their NXT feud, so it could definitely be a show-stealer if they face each other at WrestleMania.
