Last week, Damien Sandow was released by WWE along with eight other men and women at the time. Since then, a couple more names have been released to keep the list growing with no end in sight.

Although he wasn’t heavily featured on WWE programming for quite some time, a lot of people have shown great support for Sandow because his talent and charisma were undeniable when WWE did feature him on TV.

The shock of his release was felt around the wrestling world, but many were very curious about the reasoning behind WWE’s release of Damien Sandow since he had so much potential that was being wasted.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, there was a very clean breakup between Sandow and WWE last week when he was released.

Apparently, the company specifically made it clear to him that his release had nothing to do with him personally and that it wasn’t due to anything that he did.

The reason that was given is about timing and that the company is in the process of “freshening things up with the roster” and there just wasn’t a spot for Sandow going forward.

Do you think releasing Damien Sandow was a huge mistake by WWE?
