This Sunday, Kevin Owens will take part in a fatal-four way match for the Intercontinental Championship against Cesaro, the defending champion The Miz, and Sami Zayn.

However, the match may have run into an issue because Owens may have suffered an untimely injury that could change the match and the progress of the roster’s current feuds in the midcard.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Owens may have suffered an injury during last night live event in Columbia, South Carolina.

He was in a match with Zayn. Towards the end of the match, Sami won with a Blue Thunderbomb. Immediately after the pin, Charles Robinson threw up the well known “X” for help from the back, and Owens was eventually helped out of the arena.

Typically, when there is an injury like that, social media grabs a hold of it, but there were very few fans that made specific mention of Owens being injured, which puts the entire situation up in the air.

With “Extreme Rules” only six days away, this could force WWE to call an audible, but it’s also possible that Owens is fine since nothing has been confirmed. We’ll know a lot more after Raw tonight.

Do you think Kevin Owens should walk out of “Extreme Rules” a three-time Ic Champion?
