The “Money in the Bank” Ladder match is a huge boost for a career. A star-making performance in that match can springboard a career into superstardom, especially if you walk away with the briefcase.

For over a decade now, the MITB briefcase has been a staple of WWE and is a way for WWE officials to place it on a superstar and essentially guarantee that they’ll be the WWE Champion in the next year.

According to a recent report, Kevin Owens is the favorite to walk out of the “Money in the Bank” PPV as the holder of the briefcase.

That makes sense because the concept genuinely works better for heels and holding it makes you a top heel no matter your wins and losses because you could cash in at any moment.

DailyWrestlingNews.com is reporting that WWE still has big plans for Kevin Owens, and it seems that those plans begin next weekend at “Money in the Bank.”

The general feeling for Owens upcoming push is the he’s capable of the best “briefcase run” out of all the men in the ladder match, and there is big money in Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns down the line for the company.

Do you think Kevin Owens deserves to become Mr. Money in the Bank?
