Ever since Bobby Roode and Eric Young were released by TNA at their request, the rumor mill immediately began to whisper about what both men would be doing next in the industry.

Obviously, the question was posed if either man could be bound for WWE. Soon after, there was a report that both men had spoken to WWE officials, but it is now being reported that Roode and WWE are doing more than just talking.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Roode was shown to be in attendance at NXT Takeover: Dallas because he signed a deal with WWE last week. He’ll be reporting to NXT sooner rather than later.

Roode was also backstage at Wrestlemania 32 and did the best he could to meet and introduce himself to as many people as he could. It’s being said that he made a great impression.

WWE brought Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews, Enzo and Cass, and the Vaudevillains to the main roster from NXT this week. Recently, Shinsuke Nakamura, Austin Aries, and now Bobby Roode will more than makeup for what the brand lost in talent this week.

It’s going to be very interesting to see former TNA talents enhance NXT.  Roode is no doubt going to be a top guy in NXT, but it’ll be interesting to see how NXT progresses after Takeover: Dallas.

Are you excited to see Bobby Roode in NXT?
