Renee Young is a great commodity for WWE. She does a great job as a backstage interviewer for the company, but she’s also done well on the WWE preshows before PPVs, on the WWE Network, and even on commentary for NXT.

Recently, she did an interview with The Miami Herald to help promote Wrestlemania 32 this Sunday and she discussed her role in WWE and the potential idea of getting into the ring someday.

You can read the full interview right here. Below are the highlights:

What’s it like working in WWE?

“Being able to now work in WWE, which has a great combination of sports and entertainment, it’s such an awesome marriage. It just seems to work perfectly for me, coming from a sports world. Though, I didn’t come from a sports world as a sports aficionado. I kind of figured out a lot of stuff on my own.”

Would she like to wrestle a match someday?

“I’d definitely be open to the idea of doing a storyline in some capacity. I think it would be so fun to jump in there and do something like that. If that opportunity came along, I would go with it, but I think WWE has other things in mind for me.”

Do you want to see Renee Young get into the ring someday?
