Just hear me out for a few minutes. I know that NXT is technically WWE developmental for the main roster and a veteran, let alone one the best to ever wrestle, isn’t exactly welcome in the ring at NXT.

Triple H is essentially “the father of NXT,” which affords him certain luxuries that no one else in the industry would be able to have. It’s actually a very cool combination he and William Regal have as the authority of NXT.

This is just an idea, but what if a superstar became too big for the brand, was too dominant and needed to be shut down by Triple H and that feud catapulted him to the main roster and superstardom.

A good example of this could have been Kevin Owens back in the spring of last year. At one point, Owens was essentially feuding with five or six different people at once, and his presence was huge.

What if it had gotten big enough that Triple H had to come in and take care of him. Since The Game is so beloved in NXT, seeing him wrestle at a Takeover would be something really special.

It’ll likely never happen, and it’s just an idea, but Triple H fighting in NXT is something that could happen someday. It’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

Do you think Triple H will wrestle in NXT someday?
